Riding Camps 2010

Once again Premier Stables LLC is pleased to provide the opportunity, to attend one of our riding camps in 2010.

June 21-26th is the date for the Advanced Camp. A limited number of overnight accommodations are available for out of town students. The cost is $1000 for the week which includes meals and transportation from the airport. Campers coming on Sunday June 20th should plan to arrive at 3:00pm or after. Those staying over until Sunday June 28th, should book morning flights. There will be an additional $50 charge for each of these nights.

June 15-18th Day camp is reserved for riders 8 years old and over. July 13-16th will be Day Camp for riders 8 years old and under. The cost is $400 for the 4 days. Both camps will include daily riding, tips on horse care and management, games, swimming and more. The camp will be held from 8:30am to 3pm. Day campers should bring swimsuits, towels and a lunch each day. Drinks will be provided.

Premier also has scheduled an Adult Camp for the weekend of October 29th-31st. The cost is $400 for the camp. Daily riding, training tips, tours and lots of food & fun are planned. Those from out of town can stay one of our local hotels. Accommodations include the BEST WESTERN (502) 633-4400 in Shelbyville.

Instructors for our camps are Sarah Byers, nationally know equitation instructor, as well as Katie Case, Heather Digiannantonio and Katy Hannah, assistants at Premier.

Known for their outstanding show string, Rob and Sarah Byers have owned and operated Premier Stables LLC since its inception at Rock Creek Riding Club in 1980, to its present location in Simpsonville, Kentucky. They have coached winning entries in every equitation age group at the World’s Championship Horse Show, as well as an astounding number of performance teams. However, they have not lost sight of the importance of their roots. They continue to provide daily riding lessons, camps, youth club activities, fun shows and barn parties. They have managed to foster a sense of competitiveness while making the business of showing fun!

A few reminders before you arrive…

All campers must have a signed release form. Payment in full is due the day camp sessions begin. Proper attire is riding boots, jods, gloves and comfortable shirts that can be worn tucked in. Overnight guests should bring casual clothes for evening activities.
